Paano po pag hindi na tumatanngap ng application forms ang regional office dahil napadala na daw nila sa central office, gaya dito sa Davao(Region XI)? Anu po ang dapat gawin?
That is so sad. I don’t have the answer. Because all application should be submitted to the Regional Office, if they don’t accept anymore that is their prerogative.

Just notice this question now. Application is every year only. CHED announces the start and end of the application. Watch for it around Feb or March.

Good evening Ma’m, I am Allen from Batangas City, I am 3rd year nursing student from LPU . Ma’am I would like to ask few questions about the scholarship program of CHED. My father died last March and now my mother is a solo parent, does it mean that we can have the grant-in-aid program of CHED which is the study grant program for solo parents and their children? If yes, what are the requirements po na kailangan? Can I still have the full merit scholarship of CHED even though I’m already 3rd year college, since I achieved 95% in NCAE last 2010, my parents earn not less than 120,000 annually, when I was highschool my final grade was 88% and now my grade is 2.35 last semester . I actually do not know the answer to your question, sorry. I only know of the deadline which is usually April 30 of every year and applicants are sent letters from CHED about the status of the application in June (it varies). So probabaly the whole month of May, CHED are conducting the screening and selection process.

Sorry Xane, that I do not know. During my time, I even got the letter from CHED indicating I was accepted as a scholar, middle of June when I already had enrolled.

Hi, tanong ko lang po kung tuloy pa rin po ba yung half-merit scholarship ko kahit na mag-transfer ako from UP Los Banos to UP Diliman? Incoming 2nd year po ako, maccredit naman po lahat ng subjects ko kasi wala pang major. Nag-woworry lang po ako kung scholar pa rin po ako nun.

Hi Anne,
You should coordinate that with the CHED Regional Office where you have applied and got accepted as a scholar. In my case, I was able to transfer my scholarship before from one region to the other.
I wrote a Letter of Intent addressed to CHED -X and was approved. They in turn gave me a Recommendation Letter and I handed it to CHED-Caraga.

So you are thinking they will call you for a screening? I don’t think so that is the process. I think they will screen the applicants based on your qualifications and the requirements you have submitted. You’ll receive a letter from them about the result of your application.

Hello Riza, pls ask your CHED Regional Office if it is still possible to change the preferred course that you indicated on the scholarship form. But I think so they would permit it as long as your new chosen course still belongs to the list of preferred courses by CHED.
And nope. ‘Di lahat ng school ay pwede ang scholarship nato. Coordinate with your CHED Regional Office again to know which schools in your area you may enroll with the scholarship.

Usually application starts around February or March. I don’t think so they accept applications through email because you have to submit the requirements altogther.

maki singit lang miss precious,ched scholar po ang anak ko at sa ngayon po check at name ng grantee ang binibigay at kukunin mo sa regional office at ipapa cash mo nalang sa landbank .kayo na bahala sa pagbabayad ng tuition sa school nyo.kaylangan lang po ang ID kapag mag clain ng allowance.tnx

pero po hindi ako top… papano po yun?
asa special class po ako kaya po matindi competition sa top 10.

Ako po si Tenessee..ma’am nagtake po ako ng exam last 2012 for CHED SCHOLARSHIP,sa probinsya po namin sa Cagayan Valley.Lima lang po kaming 4th year student ang nkapagtake ng scholarship kasama po ng mga 3rd year high school student at hindi ko parin po nakikita ang result.paano ko po malalaman kung nakapasa po ako? thank you po.

Good day ma’am. I’m Merriam from Kalinga and a CHED scholar under the Merit branch. I hav been receiving my allowances every March(even Feb) & October, starting when I was a freshman & now I’m in 3rd year. But, I did not receive my allowance for this sem and yet October is ending. I regularly renew my scholarshp every sem & did not fail 2 meet the requiremnts needed 2 maintain the grant… I went to our school’s accounting, cashier’s & Scholarshp coordinator’s office to inquire about this but they hav the different replies: CHED did not give ur checks/ checks will be coming (When?- We don’t know.) I hav no money to inquire in the regional office, fare is so expensive… please help me w/ this problem…
